THE WORD CHRISTIAN

Keith Jones is the Pastor at The Word Christian Fellowship Church. His ministerial leadership and outreach to the Long Beach community has helped change the lives of countless individuals and their families who have attended The Word Christian Fellowship since its opening nearly a decade ago.

Before founding the Word Christian Fellowship, Pastor Jones graduated from the Crenshaw Christian School of Ministry in 1995.  He later served as a personal ministry counselor, youth ministry leader, member of prayer team, bible study teacher, and youth ministry leader at Zoe Christian Fellowship of  Whittier. He also was a core member of Zoe of Whittier’s church plant in Nickerson Gardens in Los Angeles, CA.

Pastor Keith Jones started his own ministry by teaching a weekly bible study in Long Beach, leading many people to Christ. After becoming an ordained minister in 2001, he opened The Word Christian Fellowship.

Born and raised in Long Beach, Pastor Keith Jones spent most of his life as a Christian, receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior as a preteen. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where he earned a bachelors of arts degree in applied mathematics. Pastor Keith Jones has ministered and done short term missionary work in South Africa, Mexico, and Japan. He is a devoted husband to wife Shana Jones and together they have a powerful union.
